Title: Technical Implementation Consultant
Position details: Full-time, exempt, remote position in the US only
Reports to: VP, Customer Success - US
Salary range: $95,000 - $120,000
About the Role
We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated person to implement and support our cloud-based inventory optimization and planning software. The software is implemented online, with interaction with customers.
The successful candidate will report to VP Customer Success (USA). They will work closely with Customer Success Consultants to perform technical work on implementations for new customers and implementation changes for existing customers. The successful candidate will also provide expertise for technical solutions to customer requirements.
Responsibilities of the role:
Perform software implementations and customizations acting as the technical lead for new client onboarding implementations.
Support existing US clients in all support channels such as Live Chats, Incident Reporting Software or via direct emails and phone calls.
Customer relationship management, i.e. manage expectations for implementation vs billable customizations.
Ad hoc technical requests.
Seek the support of wider team where necessary for support or advice on existing customer issues.
Provide knowledge transfer to customers in each engagement.
Provide software improvement/enhancement suggestions for continuous product improvement.
Knowledge share with the team and document issues.
Skills Required:
Proficient in: Database programming Language (SQL), MS SQL, MySQL, Postgres, etc.; Relational Database Structures; read and understand code; write stored procedures, custom reports, resolve SQL errors.
Ability to understand software architecture, including database tables, ETL, files, servers, and how all the pieces fit together
Familiarity with common ETL tools such as APIs (SOAP, REST, ODATA), Postman, etc., and middleware, such as MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.
Knowledge of supply chain, including sales forecasting, distribution, manufacturing, contract manufacturing and inventory management
Familiarity with ERP systems, such as MS Dynamics Business Central, NetSuite, Acumatica, Sage (various versions), etc.
Ability to review and understand data anomalies

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to create technical documentation

Server administration skills a bonus but not required
Degree qualified and minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience Preferably degree qualified and minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience
The candidate will work with customer success consultants who will be responsible for the overall implementation and training of the customer on the use of the software.
